A study published in a 2008 edition of the International Journal of Sexual Health reported that almost 70 percent of women were unhappy with their breast size or asymmetry.
Additionally, factors such as weight loss, ageing, pregnancy and breastfeeding may cause breasts to lose their shape over time.
While breast implants are typically the prescribed solution for those who want a larger bosom, Amaris B. Clinic medical director Dr. Ivan Puah recommends the ADR-C Breast Enhancement procedure for women who do not feel comfortable undergoing invasive surgery or inserting silicone synthetic fillers into their body.
Fat tissues are removed through a micro-lipo technique from areas of your body with higher amounts of body fat such as your thighs or abdomen. “Then, the fat is centrifuged before it is injected into areas of the breast where volume is lacking,” explains Dr. Puah, adding that over time, the fat cells are said to integrate into the surrounding breast tissue, which can help create more defined and firmer breasts. He also claims that this procedure is more economical than traditional breast enhancement surgery and is minimally invasive.
“The ADR-C Breast Enhancement procedure utilises your own body fat, which eliminates the risks of ruptures, leaks or shifts usually associated implants,” says Dr. Puah. Additionally, he says there is minimal downtime, but most patients have a faster recovery time as compared to that of standard breast implant surgery.
The results vary from patient to patient, but Dr. Puah says that patients can expect soft, natural-looking breasts. Plus, the areas of the body where the fat is harvested from can have better definition and leave you with an improved silhouette. Dr. Puah also says that, from experience, the results can last for several years.
You will need to schedule a consultation prior to undergoing the procedure, and Dr. Puah will discuss and explain the procedure, expected results and other vital information. Visit the clinic’s website to book a consultation with Dr. Puah.
